La Bandera, Beautiful Reef, Awesome First Drift Location, 35 ft 12 M!

La Bandera is one of our most beautiful dives. Dense with marine life and coral, a function of its depth and constant nutrutrient flow from the current. Two large parallel coral structures rise off the bottom providing tons of habitat. In the marine park, the current can vary, after exploring the reef, we drift out the rest of the dive northward looking for more life. With a ( sometimes there ! ) permanent buoy at the north, we backroll off the boat or giant step, often to a trailing line. Bandera is our favorite location for the Advanced Open Water Drift Adventure Dive. Lalo knows where to find a Cozumel Splendid Toadfish at Bandera. Visit Aqua Adventure's Drift dive Foto Gallery and Aqua Adventure's Facebook Page.

Grampin, Punta Negra, El Tunel, Gorgeous Drift Dives, 50 ft 15 M!

The reefs and walls in the Grampin, Punta Negra, and El Tunel areas are some of Aqua Adventure's best dives for lots of life. 2 to 3 meter walls and structure rising off the bottom, Dense with marine life and coral, we see everything here, even Eagle Rays out of season. from the current. Turtles, moray, rays, reef fish, nurse shark and more black tip sightings in 2018 than in past years.

In the marine park, no descent buoys in this area, we free descend down to the walls and drop behind the structure to get relief from the current. Sometimes we return to the current to get to another section of the reef. Normal entry is simultaneous backroll, often negative entry. Delayed equalization can cause a diver to miss the reef. Bring your DSMB! Visit Aqua Adventure's Drift dive Foto Gallery and Aqua Adventure's Facebook Page.

Punta Sur, Aqua Adventures Ripping Drift, 45 ft 15 M!

Turtle breeding season from early May through late June gives us views of amazing moments, loggerhead and green turtles making new turtles!
