Meet the Owners
Bob & Tammy Isham
For a dozen years now, our compass kept pointing back to Isla Mujeres. While our roots run deep in East Tennessee—where you’ll still find us proudly bleeding orange on fall Saturdays for our Tennessee Vols—the moment we first stepped foot on Isla in 2014, we knew we’d found our second home.
After decades of hard work back in Knoxville—Tammy spending over 35 years in healthcare transcription with Covenant Health, and me logging more than 23 years as a lead industrial maintenance technician with DWK—we built our lives around precision, reliability, and taking care of people. When I took my first breath underwater in Cozumel in 2021, my love for the ocean ignited. Dives across the Caribbean and off the shores of Isla quickly turned an adventure into a calling.
When the opportunity arose to take over the dive shop, we didn’t hesitate. We’re channeling that East Tennessee work ethic and southern hospitality directly into the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean. Whether you’re snorkeling MUSA, setting up your first open-water dive, crossing off that magical bucket-list experience of swimming with whale sharks, or drifting over Manchones reef, we treat you like family the second you walk through our doors.
